Coronavirus – Guidance for patients

​The World Health Organisation has declared a global health emergency with regards to the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus – a new respiratory illness.

The UK Chief Medical Officers are advising anyone who has travelled to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the last 14 days, or had physical contact with someone who has, and is experiencing cough, fever or shortness of breath, to call NHS 111, even if symptoms are mild.

Stay indoors and avoid contact with others until you have sought advice – Please do not present at the surgery, hospital or other healthcare providers without seeking advice first.
